Seminars and Classes
The Western Wyoming Community College Outreach (WWCC) has been kind enough to allow us to teach a series of classes, which are held in the evenings at the high school.
These classes are 2 series of 6 classes, 2 hours each (6:00pm to 8:00pm), on Tuesday nights, in Room 102.
The first series, Computer Basics I, goes through an introduction to computer hardware, components, terms, the Windows XP Operating System, and what to look for when buying a computer. The next set of classes will be starting soon. Call the WWCC for more info.
The second series, Computer Basics II, covers an introduction to Internet Security and PC software packages such as Internet browsers, word processors, spreadsheets, E-mail, and working with devices such as printers and digital cameras. The next set of classes will be starting soon. Call the WWCC for more info.
The Application Workshops are not running right now. They used to be Thursday nights or Saturday afternoons, 4 hours each, that go more in-depth with Internet Security, Internet browsers, word processors, spreadsheets, E-mail, graphics, and doing some desktop publishing such as newsletters, letterhead, and business cards. In the Fall of 2011-2012, workshops are not being offered. If you would like them to be offered again, talk to Mary or Yvonne.
Please call the WWCC at 307-886-3834 to talk to Mary or Yvonne about signing up! Don't forget: Seniors get a discount!
